Abbey House is a large detached house decorated and furnished to a high standard. It provides spacious communal areas, comfortable living space and 23 individually styled bedrooms. It is a period property with plenty of character and charm. Communal space at the home includes a large lounge, leading onto the dining room and private garden. The garden is lovely in summer and a popular area in which to relax. We have recently installed a visitors pod to facilitate visit in these difficult times.

 

All communal areas of the house and garden are accessible either via the passenger lift or gentle ramps.

 

The bedrooms have en-suite toilet and washing facilities – there are also two assisted bathrooms and one shower room.

All bedrooms have a 24 hour call bell installed for added peace of mind.

Meals from the extensive menus are high quality, varied and nutritious. Hot and cold food and beverages are available throughout the day.

With regular activities, excursions to the local area, visits from the clergy, library services and hairdressers to name but a few, residents of Abbey House receive an active home life in a safe and secure environment.
